A peace deal is signed to end the Tigray war
Finally! An agreement about a permanent cessation of hostilities and other measures has been reached and signed by the parties. The news was welcomed in Ethiopia and abroad, and a few days ago people here in Addis Ababa were even celebrating in the streets. The agreement was signed exactly 1 week ago, on November 2, and since then all agreed following steps have been implemented. The whole country is tired of the war, so now everyone is excited and happy about the reached peace deal.
